About

Who We Are

Every stage of growing up,
supported.

Ministry of Students operates under the Shivpuri Foundation, a non-profit committed to breaking socio-economic barriers for young people across India.

Ministry of Students is one of the flagship education initiatives within a larger consortium of development organizations committed to advancing equitable learning and youth development. Designed to support students at every stage of their educational journey, the initiative delivers differentiated programmes tailored to the unique needs of three distinct age groups, ensuring age-appropriate learning, holistic development, and meaningful long-term impact.

The Foundation believes that support should not stop at one stage of a child's life. That is why it works across the full spectrum from the earliest years of learning, through the complex adolescent years, all the way to career readiness.

I had the career everyone said to chase. Good salary, great company, all of it. But I kept thinking about the kids I grew up around the ones who never got the same shot I did.
Founder, Ministry of Students
Aashish Razdan is dedicated to dismantling socio-economic barriers through targeted educational interventions. With a professional background as an engineer and extensive experience in the corporate, education and social impact consulting sector, Aashish transitioned to social impact after witnessing stark learning gaps while teaching in government schools in Delhi as a Teach For India fellow from 2019-2021. His firsthand experience underscored the urgent need for foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) support , life skill support and career awareness among students. He aspires to scale this program in multiple states in India in the coming years.

What drives us
Five beliefs.
Every decision.
Not slogans on a wall. These are the things we actually live by — in every session, every conversation, every choice we make.

Radical Accessibility
Free. Always. No exceptions. A student's postcode or family income should never determine whether they get a real chance.

Brutal Honesty
We show real numbers. No inflated claims, no donor theatre. If something isn't working, we say so — and fix it immediately.

03
Community First
We work with Delhi — not for Delhi. Students shape our programs. Their feedback changes what we do. We listen more than we talk.
Student-led

04
Long-term Thinking
We're not here for a pilot or metrics. Young people in Delhi deserve consistent support — not a 4-week program and a goodbye.

Dignity in Everything
We never treat students as beneficiaries. Every session is built on respect — because they deserve to be seen as the capable people they already are.
